Meet the artists
Bob Humid
Located in the media-metropole cologne, Humid gathers all terms of
music around himself. Apart from his own scientific
studio-beat-tweakings he's a very dangerous (we got a proof for this)
life musician, he's involved in a lot of sideprojekts, he's running a
mastering studio and he gets paid for traveling and writing about music.
For us he opens the WHITELINE Vol.II with a very sophisticated
grain-funk-timestrech-swing-kinda variation of what other might call
Dub-Step.
The Outside Agency
From the gifted hands of this non-stop-touring producer (known also as
DJ Hidden) comes at least and after all pure hell. A midnightlike shiny
black jewel with edges and spikes. Starting off with a complex and deep
arrangement of textures, pads and jet nameless sounds the whole
contruction breaks on a sudden and punches screaming right in your face.
Listening to this for the first time has scared to s*** out of us but points the proof that it's elite.
Noize Creator
Noize Creator for sure is one of the most vital actors in the breakcore circus.
Located in the city of Dresden (germany) his activities cover local
culture support, workshops and gigs in Japan and running the wellknown
label / mailorder suburbantrash.
His releases have always had that special kind of sought-after-groove
which makes them welcome DJtools. Now here with CHAINSAW DUB he cashes
the cheque the promising songtitel gives. A moodswinging flirt of
dupstep and breakcore, a monster that comes with all the harsh
distortion convulsing in a dark, hollow emptiness. Banging and
efficient at the same time.
CTRLer
Observing
the spanish scene for years and investigating with countless lifegigs
CTRLer formulates his own kind of break-punk at which the drive of
guitars, the complexity of DnB and breakbeats plus the right amount of
distortion makes a contagious efficiency.
Imagine the time at a concert when the whole audience has already
reached its spare tank. This one should be the blast they need to
reanimate the last sort of energy and go nuts until they snap.
AZ-Rotator
The alchemist, the musical scientist. When AZ-Rotator came up with his
first album he hit the scene so hard that he was booked for the Sonar
festival immediately. Need we say more? Shall we try to give his
musical output a name? Highspeed IDM? Soulish Electro? Fractals n Bass?
not-breaking-but-collecting-whoppaloopadingdong?
NIGHT MUTANT CREATURE (whatever you'll call it) got all trademarks of
this spanish stand-out-artist: dedicated beatprogramming, artificially
designed sounds and playful micro melodies.
